In fact after this line in pppoa2.c :

n = pusb_endpoint_read(epdata, lbuf, sizeof(lbuf), 30000);

I must add these statements

if(n < 0 && errno == ETIMEDOUT){
      usleep(500);
}

Otherwise when a real lockup arise, the syslog was filed by timeout
messages and the connection give up.
