May I add some info? I use linux (mandrake MNF), but I managed to get a working connection with the 330. Our ISPs in portugal all use PPPOE, PPPOA doesn't work at all. Looking at my howto, I call pppoa3 differently, but I don't know if that is because I am using linux and not FreeBSD; anyway, here is my pppoa3 command line:
/usr/bin/pppoa3 -vpi 0 -vci 35 -b -e 1 -m 1 -c Slightly different from the one both my countrymen posted here; I can't check right now what does every switch (I'm at work, no linux here, unfortunately), but I hope this helps. --- Jose Bernardo B R Silva | Source Mage GNU/Linux Section Guru [EMAIL PROTECTED] | http://www.sourcemage.org http://counter.li.org #245602 http://cosmos.oninetspeed.pt/jose.bernardo [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------- Original Message ----------- From: Francois Rogler <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Mon, 14 Jul 2003 06:17:14 +0200 Subject: [speedtouch] Re: Patch for pppoa3 to support PPPoE bridge under FreeBSD > On Sun, Jul 13, 2003 at 07:36:19PM +0000, Nuno Ricardo Gomes Antunes > wrote: Hi, > > > I'm experiencing the same dificulties as Nuno Teixeira.
