It does work (better? I'm not sure), I had the pppoa3/linuxthreads
combination working under a patched FreeBSD 5.0 kernel (to alleviate a
panic caused by ugen, which should be fixed in 5.1 release kernel).
Apart from a few minor issues with the logging system, I've had the connection
up for about 2 months without problems.
