Hi Folks:
Yesterday my user group had its first set of dry runs for PyCon 2011 and Confoo
2011. I got a lot of useful feedback concerning my talk. I need to revise my
slides considerably. What was interesting was most folks sort of knew Stackless
was but they always associated it with games and CCP.
One of the speakers topic was the Pyramid framework. Pyramid is a successor to
Pylons. At one point, Alexandre pointed out that gevent was used under the
hood. Also websockets and socketio were being used. The audience was impressed.
I am wondering what would it take to have Stackless Python under the hood? And
most specifically how does one predict when hard or soft switching is used?
Cheers,
Andrew
