[pfSense Support] cant reset password

Im getting this error when trying to reset the admin password via the 
console:

Error: cannon determine root pwd in sync_webgui_passwords().
Effectively locking me out of the firewall.

Is there anyway to correct this?

I was hoping to upgrade to RC2, but need to get this fixed first, I am 
running RC1.
