Anatoly,

Horizontal blanking in this sensor can not be reduced below few hundred pixels
- it is probably needed for the ADC operation. Vertical blanking can be made
small - we use it in line-scan mode when only 1 pair of lines is acquired in
each frame, then multiple such line pairs are combined in a large virtual frame
and compressed/transferred as a single image.

Yes, you can use any combination of decimation and binning modes available in
the sensor - they are available through the parameter settings and even from
the camera GUI interface.

You do not need GRR mode (it is possible but may need some changes in the
driver). If the pulsed light source is under your control, you may use either
an external delay or just program the camera output to trigger it when all
lines are exposed (and set exposure time >= readout time). When the camera
trigger source is selected to be from the FPGA timer, the trigger delay sets
the delay from the frame trigger to the output pulse that you can connect to
the laser control circuitry.
