Dear Summer of Code program administrators,

As a project administrator of the SynCE project
(http://synce.sourceforge.net/synce), I hereby advise our interrest in being

The purpose of the SynCE project is to provide a means of communication with a
Windows CE device from a computer running Linux, FreeBSD or a similar
operating system. The sourcecode of the SynCE project is licened under the

One of the main goals of the project is to provide a full opensource

Currently, most of the RAPI-Protocol is implemented. The RAPI2-Protocol
introduced by Microsoft with its Windows Mobile 5 system is currently under
investigation.
Synchronization of Contacts, Todos, and Events with KDE-Kontact and
Gnome-Evolution is in beta stage.
All other features provided by the SynCE project, are described in more detail
on the project website on sourceforge http://synce.sourceforge.net/synce .

All of our developers and our community will be glad to be part of the Sommer
of Code 2006 project.

I will act as our organizations administrator for the Sommer of Code project.
My full name is Volker Christian. I am a professor of Multimedia
