Even if we are in 2016, I have migrated a SAP system running on Oracle. This not only a Oracle DB. Everything worked fine on RH6 with system V. On RH7 I am loosing several days try to understand why systemd kills my process before I have the chance to stop them on my own :-( Finding out why it behaves like this is really not trivial, at least for me. If there is an easy way to why I have such behaviour do not hesitate to provide me the solution. I will offer you a coffe next time you go to Geneva. You have provided example of systemd config for Oracle DB. If you have systemd configurations to start/stop a SAP system running on Oracle DB, please provide them to me. I am very interesting.
