Dear Sarah,

For structural analysis, I have a short warp of 8 cards
threaded identically with 4 different colors of cheap
yarn. I can set them up in any desired fashion (S or Z, etc)
and weave with them using cheap bamboo skewers as weft.
Yes, I can see that setting up the warp with 4 different colors would be a 
good idea.  Thanks for your advice -- I did check out the page you 
recommended on your website and that helped get things straight in my 
mind.  Then I took "Tablet Weaving Magic" on the plane with me and read it 
again, and somewhere up there it all fell into place.

There is *so much* to learn about tablet weaving -- isn't that wonderful?
