Just a curious list mom wondering what on Earth CNCH refers to. No
doubt I am the only one who doesn't know.
Thanks Kevin and Janis. Susanne spotted the acronym in the January
Complex Weavers Journal which arrived here yesterday by slow mail.
Now I know what CNCH means.
As a native of Hollywood I grew up with the concept of S. California
being San Diego and possibly parts of greater Los Angeles. Central
California was more or less above the natural Ventura - Santa Barbara
line which is obvious on any map.
Northern California for me started at about Santa Rosa. Santa Rosa is
the northernmost of the Santa xxx towns right? Even Fr. Serra knew
that was the end of the line.
No big deal, but to imagine Santa Clara as part of northern
California is an amazing concept. Eureka OK, but Santa Clara?
Smile......
