"Tkach" means web/warp. "Tkan'e" means weaving, cloth, woven fabrics. The title of the piece "Ruskie Poyasa: Tkan'e s' Perebros'm" (my own transliteration; I don't know what the online translation/transliteration comes up with) means roughly "Russian Belts: Weaving with Crossings." The first words in the article, "Tkan'e na doshchechkach" means card (tablet) weaving.
