Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques Hi all,Does anyone know of any examples of tablet woven starting borders on cloth from the medieval period (13-14 c)?
Or, a mix of TW edges (selvedge edges) and loom woven cloth at the centre (which I know some people do today).
I know that the earlier ones seem to have been woven using a vertical warp-weighted loom (the cloth section), would this work with a horizontal loom or be too complicated to warp up? I don't know much about weaving/warping cloth looms!
