There were some gorgeous wire tablet-woven pieces in the
TWIST exhibit at Convergence. I believe all (or most) came from the
Israeli tablet weavers. Really nice stuff, and it all looked like
much finer wire than Linda is talking about (22 & 24 gauge).
One thing I learned in my kumi with wire class (from Giovanna) is that
wire gauges differ from country to country, so who knows what the
equivalent to 22 & 24 might be called in Israel. I've always
thought that if I took a plunge at tablet weaving w/ wire, I'd use
something like 30 or 32.
