Intro & Birka pattern question

Warmest Hellos,
I'm Trudi from NC and I've been tablet weaving for about 3 weeks. I took 
it up after being diagnosed with lupus. I'm really enjoying it and want 
to weave all the time. :-)

I've just ordered Peter's book and while waiting for it to arrive I 
thought I'd give this pattern a try:

Please forgive my ignorance, but I have a question about it. Do I return 
all the cards to their original positions (A and D on top of the shed) 
before each turning sequence and after each pattern repeat? Or do I just 
keep going?

It's a beautiful pattern and I'm excited about weaving it. I just don't 
want to muck it up. <G>
