\let\activatestep=\blau\let\hidestepcontents=\displayidentical + complex arguments to step

Hi,

When I give a complex command to step having activatestep and
hidestepcontents defined, I get:

\mbox{{\it werden\/} (`will' non-finite form):} \\

 head   & \ms[verb]{ subj & \bstep[\value{step}=1]{\ibox{1}} \\
                   } \\
 subcat & \ibox{2} \\
 vcomp  & \liste{ {\rm V[{\sc lex\/}+, {\it bse\/}, {\sc subj}
\bstep[\value{step}=1]{\ibox{1}}, {\sc subcat}~ \ibox{2}, {\sc vcomp}
\liste{}]}} \\
}
\begin{itemize}

When I use it like this:

Everything is fine.

Can I do something about this?

ibox is defined the following way:
