Building Tika 0.5 behind a proxy server

Hi,
I'm trying to build Tika 0.5 and I can't get past the tests. I get stuck at the

Running org.apache.tika.mime.MimeDetectionTest

step. I looked at the sources and saw that MimeDetectionTest.java tries to 
access two URLs - problem is, I'm behind a proxy server and can't figure out 
how to tell Tika to use it.
Any of you guys ran into the same issue?
