Hi Georger,

Sorry about that - you can tell Tika to skip the tests during the build:

mvn -Dmaven.test.skip=true package

Then, when you aren't behind a proxy, the tests should run fine...

In the latest Tika 0.6 trunk, Jukka Zitting replaced the URL calls I put in
(sorry!) with local copies so you won't have to worry about this in the future.

Thanks!

Cheers,
Chris

Hi,
I'm trying to build Tika 0.5 and I can't get past the tests. I get stuck at the

Running org.apache.tika.mime.MimeDetectionTest

step. I looked at the sources and saw that MimeDetectionTest.java tries to
access two URLs - problem is, I'm behind a proxy server and can't figure out
how to tell Tika to use it.
Any of you guys ran into the same issue?
Regards,

Georger
