Poll.phtml thanks

Many thanks to everyone who responded to my query. I resolved part of the 
problem by updating the extension to .php. I don't have the authorization to 
modify the permissions on the web server, but as soon as my IT manager returns 
from his honeymoon, I'll work with him to change this.
