BENHAM'S TOP info?

hi Tipsters - Gazing at a high-spatial-frequency grid, I saw colors (reds &
greens) running perpendicular and I remarked that it reminded me of Benham's
Top, in which one also sees color from a black-and-white display.  Can anyone
