Barney, The good news is that you got the ccf from the remote using Tonto. I presume you saved it to disk somewhere. The bad news is that I've had problems downloading ccfs into the RC5000 because some odd header bits are getting set incorrectly. I still haven't tracked this down, but it's on the top of my todo list. From what I can tell, it doesn't always happen. Since I don't have an RC5000, it takes a little longer to troubleshoot. And I'm out of the country right now which complicates things. If you have the CCF on the PC, you can download it using Tonto with the "Utility->Raw Download" command. These commands differ from the normal load/save routine by bypassing Tonto's CCF parser. It's this parsing/re-construction routine that seems to introduce the faulty header bits. stewart Barney Hamilton wrote: > I have got Tonto to work on my Mac OS 10.1.4 - I have managed to connect > properly, and if I set all the debug settings to 3, rather than the > initial 0, I have managed to load my CCF file from my Marantz RC5000i > into Tonto. > > However, when I trying saving the file back to my RC5000, I get an error > message on the marantz, saying invalid configuration file, and my > settings have been reverted back to the original that the Marantz > shipped with. > > Could be a disaster unless I can find my CCF file on my PC, which works, > incidentally without hitches. > > Anybody any ideas? _______________________________________________________________ Sponsored by: ThinkGeek at http://www.ThinkGeek.com/ _______________________________________________ Tonto-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tonto-users
