Running Torque 3.1 under Java 1.5

Hi,
 
unfortunately I didn't find any information on running Torque
(torque-3.1.jar) under Java 1.5. Are there any experiences on migrating
a Java 1.4 based application (J2EE web application, EJB 2.1, using
Torque as the persistence layer) to Java 1.5 using the specified version
of Torque?
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
