NOTE:

- The demo/poster session will be a joint event open to all Cyber-
Physical Systems Week (CPSW) attendees (including RTAS/IPSN/HSCC
conferences and the CPS Forum).

- The demo/poster session replaces the traditional WIP session at
RTAS and provides a great opportunity to publicize work-in-progress
at RTAS and CPSW.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

RTAS09 will host a demo/poster session on April 13, 2009. This
session will be devoted to the demonstrations and presentations of
preliminary and ongoing research in the broad field of real-time
and embedded systems and computing. RTAS09 is especially interested
in demonstrations and presentations of novel ideas, approaches,
tools, prototypes and applications. The main purpose of this
session is to provide both academic and industry researchers an
opportunity to demonstrate and discuss the-state-of-art and the-
state-of-the-practice in real-time and embedded systems. Demos and
posters dealing with all aspects of real-time and embedded
technology and applications are welcome. These include, but are
not limited to:

- Real-time scheduling and operating systems

- Real-time computing and communication

- Real-time middleware

- Real-time wireless sensor networks

- Real-time cyber-physical systems

- Distributed embedded systems

- Hardware/software co-design for embedded systems

- Language and compiler support for real-time and embedded systems

- Real-time and embedded applications/benchmarks

- Tools for real-time and embedded systems design and debugging

- Case-studies

Each demo will have a table, power and wireless connectivity
available. If a demonstration requires special arrangements,
please note them in a separate document with the submission (not
in the demo abstract itself). All demo and poster abstracts will
be included in the Demo/Poster Proceedings to be distributed to
all RTAS attendees.

Important: Please note that the demo/poster session of RTAS09 will
be in place of the traditional work-in-progress (WIP) session in
previous years of RTAS. Therefore, people who plan to submit to the
WIP session are strongly encouraged to submit to this demo/poster
session.
