When using the 2.6.15 kernel (dapper) it works nicely, but when I switch to the
2.6.17 kernel it doesn't work. Both kernels are binary blobs distributed by
Canonical via apt-get.
Right now I'm running the 2.6.15 kernel (that's why I can connect to the
Internet). I've run 'uname -a' and 'lsmod' in my system (kubuntu edgy with
2.6.15 kernel from dapper) for you to see the modules loaded.
