Sorry, I left out the location: the films will be screened at 45th and Regent, which is between Chester and Kingsessing, in the Bowl. Use the 13, 11 or 36 trolleys if you're coming from outside the neighborhood. I'm still working on a rain contingency plan. Peace, Ricky

Oops, we got rained out a couple of weeks ago when we tried to host our 3rd annual film screening with Scribe.
We've rescheduled the event for this Thursday evening from 8:30 to 10:00.
This year our independent shorts will feature a talking cucumber, a pair of tampon thieves, an office worker with overwelming fantasies, a female to male transexual, and an inquisitive Asian kisser. You know, just another day in University City. And, like our neighborhood, everyone is welcome (well, maybe not the children.)
No promises, but I'm working on getting some space at USP (Pharmacy) in case it rains (I've heard mixed forcasts). Look for signs posted on the storage hut at 45th and Regent to point you to the right building.
Again, please consider supporting one of our local businesses for dinner beforehand: the Marigold, Palladium, Jow's, White Dog, etc, etc. If the weather's nice, pick up some take-out and make a picnic of it.
Up next: our annual Welcome Back (from ___?____) cocktail party at the Gables, Sunday, September 9th. Details to come.
Peace, love and rain bonnets,
Ricky
