Also, am very sorry that I completely messed up on the meeting date for the block network. Turns out I'm leaving for Ohio Wed. morning instead of my usual Thursday and that got me all mixed up. April will get us organized one way or another.

Maureen--- Begin Message ------ End Message ---UNIVERSITY CITY DISTRICT BLOCK CLEANUPS 1] MARK YOUR CALENDAR The University City District for District is having cleanups on the following Saturdays: December 07, 2002 March 08, 2003 April 19, 2003 2] If there is a light morning rain we will stay open to 3:00 pm If the rain is heavy the rain date will be the following Saturday. 3] If you want to schedule a cleanup any other Saturday, let me ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) know and I'll get you the necessary bags, brooms, shovels, etc... 4] You can post flyers on your block. ("BLOCK CLEANUP THIS SATURDAY") [Free, up to 7 days before, on the Jon Mourar's porch at 252 S Farragut, between 46th & 47th, Spruce & Locust.] 5] The Spruce Hill Center (257 S. 45th, between Spruce & Locust) will be open at 8:30, and we will have bags, brooms, shovels, leaf rakes, steel rakes, scrapers, & weed wakers for you to use. Come or call (215-349-7925) the center by 11 am to pickup equipment and identify the corner locations of your filled bags. 6] Bring the bags to the corner for pickup. If you can't get the bags to the corner the city will pick them up on your regular trash day. 7] At 11 UCD will pick up the list of corners from the spruce Hill Center . Between noon and 4:00 UCD will pick up bagged street litter in April, May, June, and October. The volume of leaves in November & December is too great for UCD.
