Below are some June gardening and greening events that you might find of
interest.   If you haven't already gone through and graduated from PHS's
Tree Tenders Training, please consider doing so, not only for yourself, your
knowledge of tree tending and the trees, but to connect with special new
street tree acquisition programs that such status provides.

Workshop: Tree Tenders Training
Wednesdays, June 11, 18, 25, 6:00 - 9:00pm
Saturday June 14, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Are you a Philadelphia resident? Do you love trees? This FREE, 12-hour
training course covers urban stresses on trees, and includes basic planting,
pruning, tree pit care, and tree identification. Groups of four or more who
attend all sessions receive special tree tending tools and benefits. To

Gardens. Eva Monheim is a horticulturist, garden writer and artist. This
