Hello Everyone- Wearing my tree planting hat, I want to invite you to come out on Saturday, March 23rd at 10am at the St. Francis deSales school yard, 47th and Springfield Ave. to participate in a big street tree planting along 47th Street from Baltimore Ave. down to Woodland Ave. Although we have called our project "47 Trees for 47th Street" we are actually planting 49! And we need help! We will have students available to help but would love to be able to count on a a community response as well. No prior experience is necessary but we would like you to bring a shovel. Kids are always welcomed. Lunch served after we're finished back in the school yard.
