Sean, Sounds like your box is too secure for samba? Google search for the error then adjust local machine group policy as needed until you can access your smb session. ______________________________________________________________________ Lewis [EMAIL PROTECTED] College of Literature, Science, & Arts 1007 East Huron, Room 201, BetaID:243340 Cell: (734) 323-8776 Ann Arbor,MI 48104-1690 www.umich.edu/~donofrio Fax: (734) 647-8333 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- () ascii ribbon campaign - against html mail /\ [http://arc.pasp.de/]

I am trying to use a Dell Rackmount Windows 2003 Server to hold the files (to get around the 10 simultaneous connection limit in XPPro). The server gives me an error, which I have come to find means that I need to enable SMB Message signing, a feature which I believe is part of the LDAP/Kerberos features in Samba. Has anyone tried to do a deployment using a windows2003 server using this software? Is it possible with either minor modification or simply the existing package to enable this? --Sean ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
