One last thing - to whomever made the statement - could we refrain from referring to ANYTHING as someone's "weird religious cult?" That is a very biased thing to say. To some, perhaps the holy communion ritual in Christianity is a weird religious practice (drinking something and pretending its blood, eating something and pretending its a body...) And as far as slaughtering animals for religious purposes - is that more or less strange than slaughtering them for food? I'm sure everybody has an opinion on that... This conversation has gone far south.... The health perspective is all that counts in this instance - if it represents a health danger, get rid of it, that's all. It is not for us to say whether the religious practice that caused it to be there is "weird" or not. Really, folks...
