FYI: There were two men in a bright blue pickup truck going down the
alleys on our block just now (4600 Hazel Ave), taking any metal they
could carry. One neighbor noticed they took beams and other metal she
had at the back of her alley and made them return them. The men were
indignant about what they were doing, saying what they took was trash
and they've been doing it for years.
