"Longtime readers of UC-list will recall that, for the past five years, Glenn occasionally pretends to "communicate" with FoCP presidents by writing them on UC-list, although he knows they don't subscribe to it and don't receive the email you are reading. It's all a fake. -- Tony West" Mr. Frank Chance, President of FOCP, received the demand letter I addressed to him. He did not honor my request and forward it to the FOCP board members. Here is his response as FOCP president. Mr. Chance defends Mr. West's attempts to silence the public discussion about FOCP conduct, and defends his outrageous fallacious straw man tactics. Then, he added his own straw man representation of me to ask questions. The response was cc'd to our public list, but Chance is not subscribed: (I deleted the last paragraph which merely promotes FOCP): >From the President of FOCP: "Glenn-- No lawsuits have been filed, and none are likely to be.. I saw nothing inaccurate in Tony West's statement. He didn't actually accuse you of purchasing sex, and if you don't then you have nothing to worry about. In fact he complimented your intelligence, implying that you could figure out alternatives to your current arrangements, which are solitary for all I know (or care to know). In fact, Mr. West asks a serious question--why are you in favor of muddy holes and broken sidewalks, and why do you promote dark areas in the park caused by aged, faulty wiring? The revitalization plan proposes to take advantage of HALF A MILLION DOLLARS in state and city funding to address those health and safety concerns..." This is an example of why only 8 supporters came to the invalid FOCP elections last fall. The "Glenn's whores" series is a great example for the study of civic associations. I've been explaining the processes for a decade but West's series and Chance's support speak volumes. No, it is not pretty nor consistent with communities in a democratic society!
