Here is an excellent observation of the sham governance made obvious with the "health care reform debate" on firedoglake. I've come to the same conclusions as this author.
I've seen more calls lately for a robust third party. The vast majority of people are alienated from the ruling plutocracy. On an issue by issue basis, the majority of people also tend to agree with a progressive, social justice platform. The corporate media has people confused and ignorant. But inside themselves, people still have an inherent goodness and know right from wrong. If we still have a chance to save hope for democracy, a third party is an emergency and progressive thinking people need to get involved! http://seminal.firedoglake.com/diary/27784 "Now, when politicians compromise with each other in the spirit of so-called bipartisanship what they’re really saying is, "You go from the right, I’ll go from the left and I’ll meet you at K Street." These compromises are stagecraft used to disguise capitulation to corporate lobbyists with the veneer of moderation" ---- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to the list named "UnivCity."
