To public newsgroups being unlisted and secure, while the developers' have deliberately abandoned their previous friendliness in order to adopt an intentionally hostile attitude in order to discourage non-developers from their public newsgroups? Or to the same attitude being adopted here? I can sometimes stomach arrogance coming from someone who's got a decent point to make, but some have displayed more attitude on this mailing list lately than helpfulness. For example, your condescending response had little to do with Graham's or my comment. And, while I'll take your word for the fact that changing the servers or addresses might be difficult or might have been addressed a number of times, it hasn't been very obvious; I'm all over some of these newsgroups, and I've never seen it; presumably Graham hasn't either. Maybe you and others who have jumped on the recent nastiness program should just tolerate the ignorant faithful in your midst. At least we're on the right path, even if we can't hope to attain your level of enlightenment. -- JN
