I don't get it. Why do you say USB? My modem is connected via an Ethenet cable, not USB. Maybe modem is not the best word for it. Is it gateway? It's the Portech mv-374.

That is not possible if you use the GSM as a modem since it talks a serial protocol (rs232/usb), not ethernet. You might need a serial/usb sniffer.

wireshark/tcpdump does "sniff" TCP packets.
