i suspected it might be, but i wanted to check before advising you.   
can you make do with perl-Log-Dispatch-0.21, which works ok with the  
stock RH Sys::Syslog, for the time being?  there's already a  
committed fix in the specfile for perl-Log-Dispatch-0.24, but the  
package hasn't been rebuilt yet.

Thanks, I can wait for the new package. I just came across the error  
on my normal update path.
