Dear All, I found this quote: Our bottles are now in 500 ml which fit into a pint glass. at http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/this-britain/minor-british-institutions-the-pint-2049768.htmlI think that this supports the view that if you order a 'pint' of beer in an English pub you only get 500 millilitres of liquid beer rather than the advertised pint that is legally defined as 568 mL but is not supplied as 568 mL.
