Just as a side note, I watched an application coded and compiled on a
windows box with the .NET compiler then copied over to a Linux box and
run perfectly. No need to rebuild from source, just needed the
executable and Mono. Very cool.

fyi: this was the satellite photo program that Jackson Harper showed us
last thursday, basically same presentation, with an extra computer to
demo nifty stuff like that.
