Bleh, I think you can be a democrat and be a good member of the LDS Church. I don't think that anybody is qualified to judge anybody in those terms. Yea, I don't like Richard Stallman or ACLU. Also, you need to consider that by being a registered member of ACLU and paying dues, you are actively contributing with funds for things like the Main Street whack-a-mole, the no internet filtering in public libraries issue, the "under God" and Pledge of Allegiance war and all those other petty issues that "oppress" the American public. But OK, I'll take that back. I will not throw into the open-vs-closed software pot the fact that Stallman is a member of ACLU. Probably it isn't necessary.
