[vchkpw] Vpopmail DB from MyISAM to InnoDB, is safe?

Hi,
I'm running vpopmail 5.4.33 with mysql replica. I would like switch from mysql 5.1 and myisam to mysql 5.5 and innodb for tables. 

Is safe? Are there contraindications?
