[VIHUELA] playing cords

in spite of the posh new site, can I ask a question here, I have got to  
Ballo Sarmatico ix
from the torban site, it has five note cords, my question is do you use  
the little finger
to play the top note, or do you play the two bass notes with the thumb??
or is there some other way?
