BTW, the soundtrack for the movie is the following: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0402894/soundtracknot much lute listed though. They must somehow have missed several of those beautiful pieces!

Dear Thomas, indeed very much fine lute music in Casanova. And the film is quite interesting too! Both Farinelli il castrato (1994) and Le Roi dance (2000) are by Gérard Corbiau. I saw the former when it came out, but haven't see the latter yet.IIRC, Arne Keller confirmed a few years back, that the innovative "sound canals" in Tremain's book do indeed exist.Best G.----- Original Message ----- From: "thomas schall" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>To: "Monica Hall" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; "Azalais" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: "Vihuelalist" <vihuela@cs.dartmouth.edu> Sent: Tuesday, May 13, 2008 11:34 PM Subject: [VIHUELA] Re: ImprimaturHi Az, I recommend Casanova - very much lute music there ..."Le Roi qui Dance " has a nice soundtrack, too as well as the Farinelli-Movie - this one is really great!I was terribly disappointed by "Da Vinci Code" ... best wishes ThomasTo get on or off this list see list information at http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~wbc/lute-admin/index.html -- No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG.
