Thanks Jocelyn. Foscarini is quite a surprise - the later pieces are rather similar to early Corbetta I think. The problem is with the rhythm - I have come to the conclusion that you might as well ignore the note values above the stave most of the time. I am beginning to think that the engraver had a problem distinguishing between these - either because they weren't clear in whatever copy Fosco supplied him with or perhaps because they were inked on to the plates before they were actually engraved which made them difficult to read.

Still - it is worth a try.
