I don't try to remember any such thing: procmail or [X]Emacs+VM
automatically file messages into the appropriate folders for me based
on the Sender: header (usually), or other characteristics of the
headers.

Of course, the tag in the subject is a useful visual reminder too.
I'm looking into it.
