Hi Gary,
Can you detail which distribution of Linux you're using and which LDAP
package (with versions) you installed?
You may also like to do an rpm -ql openldap | fgrep ldif2ldbm (or
equivalent on your distribution) to find out where your package has
installed it. On my Redhat 6.2 system it's installed in /usr/sbin:
[raju@mail ~]$ rpm -q openldap
openldap-1.2.9-6
[raju@mail ~]$ rpm -ql openldap | fgrep ldif2ldbm
/usr/man/man8/ldif2ldbm.8.gz
/usr/sbin/ldif2ldbm
