Have went from Beta1 thru beta6 without removing old files.  Then went to 
beta 7 and thought, hmm, should do 'clean' install, so I cleaned out the old 
files and installed beta 7.  The only thing I left in place was the 
configuration files for everything(Server.config,slapd.conf,httpd.conf,etc)
