This video could be a hoax. Or it could be a more complex situation than meets the eye, so to speak... The only reason it is posted here, given its probably high level of bogosity -- is the wrt the Scragg patents. Not to mention Kanzius patent and Mills recent inclusion of chlorine as a catalyst. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0EvtfEQ6IQ Patents # 4,426,354 #4175381 - and four or five others involving solar-chlorine were granted to Robert Scragg of Miami. All are expired. Apparently if the above video were accurate, chlorine has the ability to adsorb and store plain solar photons in a much simpler way than Scragg imagined. Doubt it, even if Brazil does get very intense sunlight. I think we would have heard of this years ago. OTOH - it could be that the plastic bottles being used there become reactive with the charged up chlorine. (plasticizer or monomer being leached) ... and it remotely possible that a glow could result, if there is slow leaching. It's probably worth an effort to try glass vs plastic bottles to see it this works well north of the equator. Jones
