Interesting post Robin. When I talked to Bedini's sales manager he mentioned that the charger occasionally causes Li batterys to explode. I recalled Jed's post following the explosion in the Japanese laboratory during the underwater arc experiment. Perhaps a Li micro particle got into the arc. Given the tiny amount of Li Robin mentioned, I assume that you'd have to break the Li into predictably sized micro particles. Usable energy good, explosions bad.
