There is little doubt that this "discovery" is not new and relates to the dense hydrogen species of LENR, whether it is called hydrino, f/H, pychno, UDH, DDL, or other assorted designations. ha! more names than petticoats, eh Boris? The new kids on the block want to call it "dark hydrogen" since they are unaware that it has been known for 20 years under other names. Nevertheless, this amounts to validation. of a sort.
