Quick progress update:

I am presently working on getting Ter'Angreal to work properly on my AMD64 Debian system, using GCC 4.0. I've been encountering some exception-handling problems which I believe are due to the fact that Crystal Space uses the new symbol visibility feature of GCC 4.0. Currently VOS does not, and from what I have read this is known to cause problems. The recommended fix is to add support for GCC symbol visibility to VOS, so that is what I intend to do.

(details at http://www.nedprod.com/programs/gccvisibility.html)

Also recent changes to the Crystal Space event system have also broke csInputBinder, which Ter'Angreal relies on. I may need to fix this myself if no other CS developers have done so yet.

Unfortunately for VOS development, for the holidays my roommate gave me a copy of World of Warcraft. WoW is incredibly fun and rather addictive, particularly when you are questing together with roommates and shouting down the hall at each other. It does distract a bit from VOS development, however. I'll try my best to balance the two :-)
