In fact, IIRC, I think that there are more, important FTP improvements in that code than there are VMS-specific ones. However, they're far too risky to go into 1.11.x, which I'm trying to keep to small, critical bugfixes (plus perhaps some appropriate documentation fixes). That's why I invited you to integrate it for 1.12, as we have more time for testing that. I don't want to spend a ton of time testing 1.11.x prereleases; and 1.12 will hopefully have a better testing infrastructure anyway. > Perhaps the Summer of Code thing will turn up someone with interests > broader than Linux.
